The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) is the national governing body of Olympic skiing and snowboarding. Every member of our racing, development or freestyle team needs to be a USSA member. Your membership with USSA provides many benefits and once you have your USSA ID, please be sure to update us with your new information by going to the Athlete Information Update page under the Team Info menu or by clicking here.

You can visit www.ussa.org to register with USSA and learn more about their membership levels.

For athletes on the team that will be competing in any races during the season, you will have to select the appropriate age group when prompted. For our development team athletes, please register as a general member.

Detailed USSA Registration Steps

Step 1: Enter your Personal Information

If you're new to USSA, you will have to create an account and select a username and password.

If you're a parent registering for multiple children, you can create an account with your information and add memberships for your children under your account.

Once you've logged in to your account, you can add a membership. For parents who are registering their children, please note that this information is the Athlete Information.

Enter your the Personal Information, Mailing Address and Phone for the Athlete being Registered.

Click Continue when you're done.

Step 2: Personal Information Continued and State / Club

Enter your Ethnicity and Citizenship.

In the State and Club section, be sure to select Pennsylvania as the State and Camelback Ski Team as the Club.

The Division will be automatically updated to Eastern.

Click Continue when you're done.

Step 3: Sport, Membership Type and Communications

First select the right Sport for your athlete.

Next choose the right Membership Type for your athlete. Note that any athlete that intends to compete in USSA sanctioned events (including all Ski Race, Snowboard Race and Ski and Snowboard Freestyle athletes) must register as a Competitor in the appropriate age group. Ski DevelopmentSki and Snowboard Development athletes should select General Member.

Pick your communications preferences. The updates from USSA about events, competitions, training tips and more are very helpful.

You can also make a Contribution.

Click Continue when you're done.

Step 4: Medical Information

Enter the name of your Insurance Company, Policy ID and Insurance Company Phone Number

Click Continue when you're done.

Step 5: Electronically sign the releases

There are three releases that you will need to sign electronically. Please read them before agreeing to the terms to be sure you understand the details.

  1. United States Ski and Snowboard Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability.
  2. United States Ski and Snowboard Concussion Policy
  3. United States Ski and Snowboard Child Protection Guidelines

Electronically sign each release and Click Continue when you're done.

Step 6: Payment

Enter your credit card information like any other website.

Click Continue when you're done.

If you're a parent registering multiple athletes under one account, you will need to go through this same process for each athlete.

Even though you will be tempted to try and add multiple membership types to the Checkout Cart, it works better if you go through these steps for each athlete one at a time.

nce you're done, be sure to print out your USSA Membership Card(s) and update our records with each athlete’s SA ID sing the Athlete Information Update page under the Team Info menu or clicking on the button below.
