Kristin Cook

Known throughout the region as Mama Cook, Kristin is a 12-year alpine ski and snowboard race parent and a deeply committed member of the PASEF racing community. She is a past PASEF President, a Level 2 Competition Official & Jury Advisor, and a Level 1 Race Administrator.
This season, Kristin will surpass 100 officiated race competitions, and while she serves as Race Administrator for PASEF, you’ll most often find her working her favorite role, Start Ref, at local races just because she loves it. She also serves as a Director for the Northeast Division of PARA, representing Camelback and the PASEF Ski Team.
Kristin’s passion for the sport runs deep. She loves watching athletes push past fear, adapt to every weather and course condition, and grow through competition. The friendships and community built through ski racing, she says, are truly unmatched—and that’s what keeps her coming back race after race.
Mike Conway
Chief of Timing and Calculations
Mike joined the PASEF community in 2019 when his son began racing on the Development Team. A dedicated and reliable volunteer, Mike gained his first race experience as a hand timer in 2020. When racing returned to Camelback in 2023, he stepped up to meet a critical team need, earning Level 1 certifications in Competition Official and Jury Advisor.
Continuing to expand his expertise, Mike worked closely with PASEF’s Chief of Timing, Coach Kris Kosic, and went on to earn his Level 1 Timing and Calculations (Chief of Timing and Calculations) certification. Since then, he has served as Chief of Timing for multiple races at Camelback, Finish Referee at U12 States (2024), and assisted with hand timing at U14 States (2025).
Mike now has two children racing for CBK, and the Conway family enjoys spending their winters at Camelback. He credits volunteering as a meaningful way to deepen his connection to the PASEF community and to support the continued success of the program.
