In a fun and supportive coaching environment, most children will start at the Development Program or possibly your child may begin their journey in Team Discovery, where they become well-rounded skiers/athletes, get a taste of alpine racing, and gain the fundamentals needed for all types of competitive skiing. Your next step, or for some athletes their first step, are the Competition Teams (U8-U14) where athletes continue to hone their skills in Slalom (SL), Giant Slalom (GS), and Dual Panel Slalom (DPS) with some potential of begin to understand some speed events such as Super-G (SG) . As they get older, racers move into the Competition Teams (U16-U21) and continue to Slalom (SL), Giant Slalom (GS), and Dual Panel Slalom (DPS), as well as begin to compete in speed events known as Super G (SG), and potentially Downhill (DH).
